Dirp is a fluid found the cores of many planets that is used to nullify the powers of super powered beings. Dirp works on most super powered beings, but some [[Celestial|celestials]] are resistant. Dirp is used in gun-like weaponry with darts as ammo that inject Dirp into the bloodstream when hit. Dirp can also be used in needles as well.

Dirp is very powerful but also very expensive, but planets with dirp in it's core are extremely profitable to those who utilize it. Dirp was first discovered by [[Adrian Dirp]] in 2299, but its use as a "power diminisher" was only discovered in 2301. Depending on the size of the dose, 1 needle of Dirp can work for 1 minute for over powered beings or up to 4 hours for lesser powered ones. More than 1 injection of Dirp before the effects wear off is extremely unsafe, and can cause rapid muscle atrophy or permanent paralyzation.
