Maksa is a very old and immortal monk who is the elder of his village on [[Honorald]]. He is also a powerful [[Kimnagi Fu]] user and a member of the [[counsel of monks]]. Maksa is 203 years old and is a swordsman, but he doesn’t believe in killing so he mainly just uses a staff instead. 

Maksa used to be a young monk in training, and when he was, he went on a travel into a dangerous forest as part of training for Kimnagi Fu. In this forest, he met an old [[Mong men|mong man]] who offered Maksa a gem which granted immortality, and in turn he would always want to sleep. If he didn’t want that to happen, he would need to sleep for 15 hours a day, or he would faint constantly throughout the day. He accepted this from the mong man and went on his way.
