Speadzon city

Speadzon city is the capital of the speadzon race, it is located in and along the Amazon river and it spans over 2700 miles long, it holds 10 million speadzons and is the “hidden beauty” of Earth, as no human (except for Hoomas) have ever seen it to its full extent. Speadzon city has a ton of colorful houses made with shells and freshwater coral. The water in speadzon city is also very clear and you can see right to the bottom in some parts, despite it being 30 feet deep. At the surface, the “lower classes” live, which is where many mangrove wood houses are found because it is a plentiful resource. Those who can’t afford a water house can buy a mangrove house for cheap. Speadzon city is led by Fenncase and protected by the sovereign guard. Speadzon city has a few main sections that are listed below.

The mangrove shallows:

The mangrove shallows is the popular beach area in speadzon city. It is around 2 miles long and the deepest spot is only 5 feet. The slow currents here make it a popular spot for young speadzons to train their swimming skills until they are ready to handle the faster main currents. The mangrove shallows also are full of mangrove trees that “hold back” the strong current of the Amazon River, making the current in the shallows much slower.

The royal palace:

The royal palace is where king Fenncase and Queen Shololie, along with princess Uratha, all live. The palace is very large and is located at the bottom of the Amazon River (370 feet deep) and it is heavily guarded by the sovereign guard. The palace is also extremely beautiful, built with marble rock and decorated with living corals and plants.

The Amazon sword valley:

The Amazon sword valley is an area of the Amazon River that is full of green and lush Amazon swords. The whole land is used for growing them because this part of the Amazon is full of nutrient rich soil. This area is also very big, being a mile long and wide. But this area grows with the phases of the moon, and can be around 3 miles wide due to changing tides. The Amazon swords here grow in and out of the water, thriving miles around the whole place. There are so many Amazon swords here that they dominate the water to a point where no other plants can grow. Due to the mass of plants here, there is also a mass of freshwater bottom feeding fish and snails, that eat the dead leaves of the plants, and this place has snails everywhere you look. The Amazon swords here can also grow to be 10 feet tall, which is extremely large. This area has few houses underwater, but the mangrove houses are everywhere here. The speadzons also farm the Amazon sword leaves for food.

The entrance of speadzon city:

This area has a massive clump of mangrove trees, which block off ships from getting inside. Along with that, there is a sovereign guard outpost located here. It was made after Hoomas had to kill a ton of poachers by himself that were trying to get in the city, which is when he learned how much this area was a weak point for the city. The entrance is actually where the Amazon dumps all the water into the ocean, as this is the only “entrance” from the ocean. Because of this, it is extremely hard to get in using a boat.

Fishing district:

The fishing district is an area of speadzon city where the speadzons do all their fishing. The speadzons put a ton of food into this area which induces more breeding and attracts more fish, this place is the home to the human, Hoomas, and he is one of the leading fishermen here.
