Darka

Darka are large, long necked natives of Tokiza. Darka are around 10 feet tall and have pink eyes with tan skin. They have lived on Tokiza for thousands of years and know the planet better than anyone, and they take up over 60% of the population.

In the 14th century, the darka were a totally violent species, with everyone stealing from people regularly. But one man called Jamike eventually changed that and he saved the entire race. Now the darka are a peaceful species, with little under 20 crimes committed by darka yearly. Darka have a large military, but devote themselves to using simple stun guns that don’t hurt anyone. These stun guns have darts with a special bug paste inside, this paste immediately knocks out the person that was hit, and they become paralyzed for days afterwards.

In the 14th century, the king, Toobais was heavily protected by knights and royal guards, but darka royal guards and knights are much different then the ones on Earth. Knights were noblemen, who ate with the king, they were trained from birth and wore layers of metal as their armor. Unlike Earth knights, they had no chainmail, which left them completely exposed at the joints. Darka knights wore animal hide that was tough enough to stop an arrow. Royal guards were lower class warriors who were specially picked by the king, the best of all of his army. Royal guards wore a chest plate of shiny black metal, impervious to swords or arrows. Their arms and legs were much more exposed, with armor only around the calves, thighs, forearms and upper arms. These knights and royal guards were notably struck down by Subais The Quick, and during Jamike’s rule, the royal guards and knights were mostly gotten rid of, as the kingdom was moving towards peace.
