Soon after he was born on [[Centera]] in 2305, Toshi's face and some of his body was burned in an accident while his mother was boiling some water. This left his whole face, right arm, and some of his chest scarred and he was made fun of in school constantly not only for his face but also his size and donut-like body. In 5th grade, Toshi was 6'1 and taller than most of his teachers. After a while he made a helmet for himself because his face kept burning when the wind blew. The helmet was just a bucket with 3 holes for his eyes and mouth. During this time Toshi really got into coloring because he loved the way that the colors looked. After a while Toshi learned to ignore everybody who made fun of him, which he still does today. When he was is 10th grade, Toshi's heart started failing during class and he barely survived. He now has a robotic heart on the right side of his body.
