Slikk
The slikk are a species on Centera. They are mainly found in sewers and dirty lower levels of Centera. They are also known to hate light and how they thrive in sewage conditions by eating sewage, the more the sewage the more they multiply. Slikk are very slippery and they can fit their entire body into a hole that is a centimeter long. Since they are so slippery they can fit into tiny drains to eat the clogged sewage and immediately slip out afterwards. Slikk are a major help to Centeras waste management because they can fit in places the workers cant.
Slikk are green and have no bones, they are also translucent, and their veins and other organs are visible. Slikk are scarred of anything human type and slip into a crack if they see a human. Because of this slikk haven’t been studied at all because nobody can catch one, and if they did the slikk would likely turn into mush as a self defense mechanism and reconstruct itself later. Slikk are kind of like a moving puddle, but they are around an inch tall. The slikks defense mechanism is quite a fascinating thing, because scientists did capture a slikk once and it turned into mush. It had no organs or anything, one scientist Olpo Jay said “it’s like all the life just went away before my eyes”. But as soon as the scientists threw the mush into the sewer the slikk turned right back into a regular slikk. This makes slikk have no natural predators.
