Gram are large, living tissue blobs that are in the genus homachise. Gram have extensions like rings and orbs connected to their body, they are filter feeders and use these extensions to trap small metal pieces floating around. Gram are sometimes found growing inside a massive shipwreck, and some are over 600 meters in length, and when they get this big they can be harmful to ships, because if a ship landed on one of these it would be crushed and sucked inside the tissue of the gram. This has happened in a few cases, and sometimes even space whales have accidentally ran into the gram megastructures, and they were sucked in.
