UU companion

UU companion is a special job restricted to only kerji. There is usually a single UU companion on every UU ship, but there can be more than 1 depending on how many entrances the ship has and how big it is. The role of the UU companions is to make sure that whatever UU ship is coming in is actually part of the UU and not a ship that has been taken over. They do this using the kerjis unique ability to send messages to peoples brains.

Whenever a UU ship lands, there will be a UU companion who is on the ship, and also a UU worker who will greet them once they land. The UU companion will send a message to the head of the UU worker saying that the ship that is landing is an actual UU ship and should be trusted. This reassurance makes it easy to make sure that there are no invaders pretending to be the UU. The only problem with this is if the UU companion is an invader as well, but this doesn't happen often.

Not every part of the UU has UU companions because there are only so many kerji and having a UU companion isn't a rule you have to follow. The UU mothership has many UU companions because of how big it is and how there are secret UU documents there that must not be stolen.
