Glid

Glid is a very stringy and chewy vegetable that grows on Urak. Glid is also very fast growing and spreads very easily. Glid is harvested both in the spring and in the fall, with its large stalks growing up to 10 feet in height. Glid is favored for its nutrients and its taste, making the combination essential for the mass production on Urak. Glid is also traded in large amounts to other planets which greatly helps the Urak government’s economy. Glid is used in many dishes and is also eaten on its own similar to eating string cheese.
