Beta

Beta is a member of the 24 Ancients, and he has a father-son relationship with Alpha. Beta is only 4 feet tall, but he was made to be the true last defense for the 24 Ancients. When Alpha created Beta, he made his brain learn 40 times faster than a normal human baby. This caused Beta to grow extremely smart rapidly, perhaps even smarter than Alpha himself. Beta has the ability to turn into an 10 foot tall giant when he sees Alpha or any other of the Ancients in fatal danger. Beta can judge if the danger is potentially fatal because he is so smart. Beta in giant form can grow his fingers and toes to be any length. When they grow, they also grow more joints in the fingers so they can move around like tentacles.

Beta turned into a giant 8 times over the course of the war. Once Beta turns into a giant, he stays in giant form until the threat to his team members is eliminated. As soon as he goes back into normal form, he falls asleep immediately to regain his energy.
