Kero Kinsir
Kero Kinsir is a swordsman and also the fire Ju who lives on Honorald. Because Kero can control fire, his go-to attack is to light his whole body on fire and then duel people. Kero isn't that good of a swordsman right now, but he is training to be a very good one.
As a child, Kero was going crazy with his power because he kept lighting up all the flammable things in the temple he was born in. As a result, he was confined to a certain place in the temple where he couldn't burn everything. Kero got furious because he didn't want to be in there, so he broke the windows and escaped, leaving his parents depressed. He was only 8 years old. Kero's life after he escaped was very dangerous, and he joined a pirate crew when he was 9 years old. Joining the pirates allowed him to eat some food daily, and most of the pirates on the ship actually liked him as well because he was so crazy. Kero left the crew at 19, which left the crew in a sort of disarray because he was their most powerful member. Kero left with the goal of finding the temple where he was born. He eventually did find it, but it took 3 years of searching the planet, and by then, everybody had already left except for Bonzola Deadly. Bonzola didn't recognize Kero, so he told him to leave. Kero told him who he was, but this made Bonzola angry because he remembered Kero burning up the temple. Bonzola started beating him up, but he couldn't beat Kero due to the order of elements. Kero left him alive because he saw that he was taking care of his old mother and also repairing the temple. Kero was 22 years old when he found the temple. Because he wasn't welcome in the temple, and he wasted 3 years of his life finding it, Kero was depressed, and he walked in the jungle until he found civilization. It took a year of walking to find a small town, where he drank at the bar with the little amount of money that he had from working for some of the townsfolk. One day, when Kero was drinking at the bar, his former captain of the pirate crew he was in was at the bar as well. At first, they didn't even recognize each other, but as they talked, they realized who each other was. The captain told him about how their ship was attacked by a large sea beast, and he was the only one who survived. Kero and him decided to team up, where they fought pirates trying to harm the town. Kero and the captain were considered town heroes and were given food and shelter as well, which also helped Kero to not be so depressed. Kero and him fought guys for 2 years of glory, until one day when the captain died when he tried to fight the master swordsman Luchi. Luchi was just passing through, but he was stealing from the town for food and other necessary things. Kero wasn't awake when Luchi came, so it was only the captain fighting him. When Kero heard what had happened, he immediately became depressed, left the village, and climbed a mountain with the hopes to die. Kero was 25 when the captain died. Once Kero got to the top of the mountain, he found a monk living at the top who was meditating. The monk told Kero to sit with him, where he told him what had happened to him. The monk told him that he must endure and fight for this world. The monk told Kero that he would teach him the art of the sword, which Kero agreed. For the past 2 years, Kero has been training with the monk. When he is done, Kero is going to go back down the mountain and fight again.
