Laser cannon

Laser cannons are large weapons developed as a way to defend planets and for use in spaceship battles. Laser cannons are the main weapons used on ships, along with their smaller counterparts quad-lasers. Laser cannons usually are 7-8 feet long and are 5 feet in width and height. They can shoot a blast capable of tearing through steel and this is why is is crucial to have plasma shields on a spaceship.

Laser cannons were made in the year 2034 by Gremegouse Jones, and they were immediately used across the universe. By the time Gremegouse died, over 200 million ships had been manufactured with laser cannons.
