Sea oxe

Sea oxe are a species of water dwelling mammals on Sevas. They have four limbs and have brown fur with whiskers and a long tail. Some people call them sea monkeys, although their faces look nothing like them. Sea oxe mainly consume crustaceans and invertebrates like crabs and urchins. Sea oxe hang around in shallow areas but sometimes are seen diving as deep as 70 feet to get their prey. Sea oxe live on shorelines, using their strong teeth to carve a home out of trees that fall in the water. This is the reason most large trees by the water are never removed. Sea oxe also make sure to secure the trees so they won’t be washed away by the high tides.

Sea oxe are usually described as friendly and openly approach people who are swimming around. Despite this, it is illegal to keep them as a pet, as they are protected because they are suffering from industrialization of 3 of the 4 nations on Sevas. They are not endangered though, as they are protected from any poachers.
