Soam

Soam, also known as society of asteroid miners, is an organization of people that all work to mine into asteroids to find valuable minerals. Soam uses large ships with massive “asteroid crushers” built inside of them. These asteroid crushers destroy asteroids by breaking them into dust and harvesting the metals an substances using magnets.

Soam is currently working illegally to mine the asteroids because the UU banned their activities. They banned the mining of asteroids because of how much asteroids they were destroying, causing many broken chunks to crash into other ships.
