A sprag launcher is a ranged weapon that fires shrapnel in a 120° angle. The first sprag launcher was made back in 2027 by Cardel James, who called it a sprag launcher because sprag is his middle name. Sprag launchers aren't too common today because of their unpredictability. In fact, 20 people have died from using the sprag launcher since it was invented because the barrel exploded when firing and sent metal and bullet shrapnel into them. The way the sprag launcher works is it fires a single bullet that is pushed into a slicer which then sends it out 6 directions. The slicer constantly breaks due to pressure and needs to be replaced often. Vintage sprag launchers are worth a lot of money today.
