UU convention

The UU convention is a book of laws made by Mr. Purp. They were made to restrict the UU's power and also to make sure that nothing bad would happen. These laws people should read before signing any contracts with the UU because they are pivotal to the UU's decision making and if they don't read it before signing a contract then if they don't agree there's nothing they can do.

Law 1: if any planet has not signed a peace treaty or contract with the UU, then the UU cannot aid them in wars, worldwide infections, and construction.

Law 2: Business can be done with planets in the UU and outside of the UU.

Law 3: Any plans for future UU buildings and weapons cannot be sold to planet leaders in independent systems because the UU could be at risk of war with their own weapons. This law can be ignored by the current leader of the UU.

Law 4: Laws may not be amended by anyone, this includes Grand admirals.

Law 5: UU soldiers and captains are not allowed to attack planets, crime organizations, or pirate ships without authorization from a higher up. They may attack these if the other enemy attacked them first. UU majors may authorize these attacks, and they may also attack these people if they see it necessary to the UU’s safety

Law 6: if a UU captain was to disobey law 5, they will be warned and put on several days of no paid break. If the behavior continues they face chances of being fired.

Law 7: If someone in the UU council were to attack another planet they would be expelled from the UU council after a vote from all other council members.

Law 8: The UU may declare war on independent systems, but it must require reason, authority of the Grand admiral, and a wining vote of over 50% within the UU council. These decisions take long and make wars unlikely with the UU.

Law 9: If a UU major decides to attack a planet, their actions will be taken into account by the UU Grand Admiral. If the Grand Admiral disagrees with their reasons for attack he may strip them of their rank of major. This is why a major should always consult the Grand Admiral before attacking a planet. The actions of attacking pirates, however, will not be taken into account by the Grand Admiral as the UU majors’ decision should be enough.
