UU ships

UU ships define the spaceships used by the UU. There are 3 main classes that most UU ships fall under. They are cargo, fighter, and head. There are 7 size classes that use a letter-based ranking system that all UU ships fall under. They (from smallest to largest) are F, D, C, B, A, and S. X class is also used for ships that are larger than S class.

Classes:

Cargo ships are used to transport materials, people, or anything in mass quantities. Cargo ships are usually very large, and even large fighters do not compare to small cargo ships. Cargo ships often have powerful thrusters to propel them, but due to the weight of the cargo, cargo ships still go quite slow.

Fighter ships are equipped with more weapons than the average UU ship and are designed to be lightweight, aerodynamic, and powerful. Fighters are typically small and are used in teams, but larger ones have been made at the sacrifice of their weight and aerodynamics.

Head ships are ships mostly used by UU captains and this class holds the largest, most powerful UU ships to ever be made.

Cargo ship subclasses:

The subclasses of cargo ships are freight and travel.

Freight cargo ships are used to haul materials or other goods. Most freight cargo ships have sides that open up, allowing the storage or removal of large cargo crates.

Travel cargo ships are used to transport large amounts of people at one time. On most travel cargo ships, there are multiple floors inside the ship that are each used for different things, but it matters on the size of the ship. One floor is used for seating, another for housing, and the other for necessary things, like kitchens and control rooms.

Fighter ship subclasses:

The subclasses of fighter ships are control, heavy, and sleek.

Control fighters are the most common type of UU ship and are often used for fighting or the travel of 1 to 4 people. The guns of control fighters are very basic because they are mass-produced by the UU and other ship companies.

Heavy fighters are better defended and more powerful than control fighters. They are equipped with a high amount of much better weapons than normal control fighters. Heavy fighters have protective plating around the whole ship to better defend itself from attacks. While weighing much more than control fighters, heavy fighters also have much better engines that rival the speed of control fighters.

Sleek fighters only have room for 1 pilot, though some have room for 2 people. Though not having protective plating or especially powerful weapons, sleek fighters make up for it with their incredible speed. Most sleek fighters are equipped with cloak technology that hides them from detection with both the eyes and the sensors of the enemy ship.

Head ship subclasses:

The subclasses of head ships are official, captain, and diplomatic.

Official head ships are used by any UU official, like the UU council. Official head ships have protective plating and cloaking technology in order to protect the important people inside. They also have very powerful turrets.

Captain head ships are the ships used by UU captains. Each captain can get a basic captain head ship or they can choose to design their own ship and have it made by the UU. Basic UU captain head ships are very large, powerful, and protected. They have very powerful weapons and have the room inside for whole towns.

Diplomatic head ships are used by UU diplomats for any interplanetary affairs, like declaring peace or discussing with the planet leader. Diplomatic head ships are only defended weapon wise with weak weapons to preserve trust with the planet leaders. To make up for the lack of weaponry, these ships have incredibly effective protective plating on them that incase the whole thing.
